Minelab Manticore new user guide part 4
In video number 4 we will be gaining momentum on our Minelab Manticore journey and discovering how to manipulate the audio tones and tone breaks.
Key Frames Explained
Understanding key frames is quite possibly the hardest thing to learn on the Minelab Manticore, once understood, you will realise they are simply start and end points that allow the user to fine tune the manticore audio tones.
Key frames allow the user to make changes to tone ranges and tone breaks.
Once you have found your favourite tone choice, simply save as a favourite program.
Minelab Manticore new user guide part 5
The Minelab Manticore has a complex discrimination
Discrimination is used to reject unwanted TID ranges, ferrous or non-ferrous.
Minelab Manticore Ferrous Bars
The Manticore uses upper and lower ferrous bars, and also a sidebar.
In this final video, we talk about the importance of setting the discrimination correctly in order to not reject desired targets that have a low conductivity.
The discrimination works in harmony with the 2D screen, giving you the best metal detecting experience possible.
